I think a lot of people have this question in mind. Before we go to answer that question, let me properly introduce myself first. My name is Jim Somchai. I am a registered pharmacist. The yeast infection problem has been my interest for a long time. It started with a success seminar I joined and one of the main topic is about health. Yeast infection was mentioned to be one of the major causes in many illness in human being starting from minor irritation to a deadly disease like cancer. Since then, I have had more interest on how to treat yeast infection and how to prevent from it. It’s not only for serving my interest but also for being the standard of my daily life activities. It is estimated that more than 70 per cent of women develop yeast infection some time in their lives. More than half of them have this more than once. Yeast infection, or in another term ” candidiasis” , is an infection caused by a group of small organisms. To be more specific, this group is microscopic fungi which is the other term of yeast. There , however, are not the only one specie of yeast. More than twenty species have been found and proven to be pathogenic, cause disease, in human. Normally, the fungi stay on the surfaces of our bodies. Under certain environment, they can multiply and cause yeast infections. It happens more in the moist and warm areas.

A yeast infection looks like a rash in the areas infected for example the infection in vagina, thrush, skin or diaper rash and nailbed infections.
